MEDIC MERCHANT LTD. commenced trading in 1989 under the name of PitBros & Co. with the goal of supplying low cost high quality latex examination gloves to university laboratories. This quickly expanded to include professional medical practices, hospitals and nursing homes too. Export sales propelled the business forward and our product range quickly expanded to cater for customers' different needs. By 1993 over 600 healthcare establishments throughout the UK and several international distributors became very satisfied customers.

Early on our focus shifted to the supply of competitively priced top quality multinational branded products. We continue along this line of business today successfully working with leading manufacturers and distributors.

Forming a strategic alliance with a major European manufacturer in 2007 enabled us to promote their diverse range of healthcare products. This was a highly commendable achievement and a testament to our long established credibility in the international medical business arena. As a result of this collaboration a whole new dimension has been added to our business profile with which we can serve our clients better.

In November 2010 the successful business of PitBros & Co. was absorbed into a new enterprise and acquired by Medic Merchant Ltd. This evolvement and "re-branding" aptly reflects the favourable growth and diversification of our activities in the healthcare market.
